The Navigation Department are responsible logistical movement of the crew on away missions and events, working with both the Helm Control and Logistics Departments. Some responsibilities include:

• Generate maps and writes directions for those traveling to events hosted by the ship
• Assist Helm Officer by providing directions to away missions or other events
• Work with Communications to make sure all members of the away teams have up to date maps and that maps are posted for events the ship holds
• Work with Logistics to gather any supplies needed for away mission members

Examples of positions available in this department are Navigator, Cartographer, and Satellite Navigation Specialist.
