The Entertainment Department is the department within the chapter that helps coordinate chapter events, such
as movie night, game night, etc. They coordinate with other officers within the chain of command, proposing
ideas for fun events to upkeep morale and promote ways for the chapter to get together. Some examples of
duties within this department are:

• Coordinate local movie night
• Coordinate online movie/show viewing
• Coordinate offline and/or online gaming
• Promote fun events and get togethers for the chapter within the interests of the group
• Work with other members to help coordinate work for conventions

Examples of positions available in this department are Morale Officer, Ten-Forward Tender, Game Master/Dungeon Master/Storyteller, and Culinary Services Specialist.

The Department Chief for the Entertainment Department is currently open. To hold this position, they are required to be compliant with SFDPP 101, 102 and the yearly re-certification of SFDPP, as well as the completion of the OCC and OTS within STARFLEET Academy.
