Utilizing STARFLEET International's Database

The STARFLEET Database is the primary location of all of your records.  It is where you can verify what your membership expiration date, set your affiliations for both the Fleet and SFMC, renew your membership, take a look at the ships within the region you belong to, look at membership perks, and more.  Some of the important features are showcased below.  If you do not receive an email with your login information when your membership is processed, speak to your Chapter's CO and they can find your login name.  From there, you can utilize that with the forgot option in order to reset your password.  If this fails, you can contact the helpdesk.  Never be afraid to ask questions on anything you do not understand.

This is your login screen.  From here, you can log into your account, reset your password, and even set up a Helpdesk ticket for any issue that may arise from the database.  As well, you can renew your membership from here.

This is the basic login screen for most members.  The Database will always greet you with a "Good morning/Good Afternoon/Good Evening" with your name and rank.  It will also make you aware of when  your membership will expire.  At the bottom of the page, it will tell you your SCC #, and give you another way to renew and put in Helpdesk tickets.  On the upper right, it will always show you who is currently signed into the database. The left  hand side of the screen will always have a menu, showing the various sections and options you have access to.  COMPOPS will offer you a view of the numbers for the entire fleet and how they breakdown by Region.  Region will offer you a further breakdown, listing the ships for your region and their contact information.

Last but not least is the Member Eligibility function here.  When you click this, it will bring up everything from name, rank, SCC#, affiliations, date of birth, email address and your join date with your expiration date.  It will also show you any award that you have received, both from SFI  and the various auxiliaries.  It will also show you both your record with STARFLEET Academy and with STARFLEET Marine Corps Academy.

The Member Affiliation section allows you to mark which affiliations you have with the exception of STARFLEET Marine Corps which will be shown later.  Something to keep in mind, some affiliations have requirements before you claim membership, so always make certain you follow the rules for the affiliations before checking any of these as active.

Another item this section shows is how many members across the fleet are within each affiliation.  While not a total number of all the members of SFI, it will give you a snapshot of what is happening within the Fleet.

On the SFMC tab, you will find a section called Marine Affiliation.  From here, you will have two options in order to showcase your SFMC affiliation.  Active will place you into the SFMC track, with your rank being under the listing of the ranks given to the SFMC.  Reserve member are Fleet member who also are attached to the SFMC, but they are primarily with the Fleet as far as their rank and uniforms.  Either of these options will place the SFMC affiliation into your affiliations in your record.
