The mission of STARFLEET Sciences is pretty simple: to serve as an informational and communications resource for the Science Regional Division Chiefs, Regional Coordinators, and ship Chief Science Officers throughout STARFLEET. In so doing, they hope to enhance interest in science within STARFLEET’s membership and to promote science education wherever possible.

Throughout the year, they have special events including a monthly speaker series with everyone from the technical members from the Star Trek show to members of NASA's research programs.  You never know whom you are going to get to see and hear from.

As well, STARFLEET Sciences have competitions and challenges through out the year, giving members a chance to learn new areas in the science field while having fun with fellow members of the fleet.
